How to reach Stormhail in Octopath 2? ›

Accepted Answer. Haven't played in a while, but to reach Stormhail, you have to head north in Montwise Pass and through a cave which is blocked by a guard who you have to defeat with Hikari or Ochette's path action or knock out with a sufficiently leveled-up Throne.

The Scholar side job seems almost like a natural choice for Temenos. It gives him access to more magical abilities and ensures that, even if you don't want the grouchy and generally unsociable Osvald in your party, you still have access to the analyze skill.

We recommend going after Throne first because of her path action during the day that lets you obtain items based on chance. You can opt to recruit Temenos later on in your journey because of the similarities of his path actions with the other recommended travelers like Osvald's Scrutinize and Agnea's Allure.

As mentioned, you do need to use each character during their own chapters. Of the two fights that need all 8 characters, one is technically optional (and honestly not that fun imo), but the other is the official endgame chapter, which you do need to do to finish the game.

That's where you need your Characters that can recruit NPCs. Get three NPCs to follow you at once and try to cross the bridge Beneath the Wall. This causes the bridge the buckle under the weight and your party to fall to the ruins below.

Sail all the way north to find a series of stone arches. Dock your boat here and follow the stone pathway to enter the Nameless Village in Octopath Traveler 2. From here on, you can just fast-travel to the Nameless Village to save time.
